Experiments with Whiskey and Other Liquids

This is nought doubt the craziest tasting of the Festival!

While some distilleries are launching their fist ever whiskies or exclusives, here we are buzzing to try the Cask Strength plus 12yr old Irish Whiskey and take a look at how it has been influenced by all of those other liquids:

4 x 2ltr Hungarian Oak Casks. Each filled with either Irn-Bru, WKD Blue, Rum and Gin. After seasoning, I then filled each cask with Buckfast. The smell was amazing. I am in the process of decanting and bottling the Buckfast so we can taste it at Belfast Whiskey Week.
